The Boston University Merit Scholarships are awarded to students depending on their academic achievements. An additional consideration is given to students who speak out against injustice positively and effectively when applying to BU.
Eligibility Criteria
While the criteria for each grant differs, Boston University Merit Scholarship recipients often have the following characteristics:
Top five percent of their graduating class
Their extracurricular achievements have been nothing short of astounding in their respective schools and localities.
Have an SAT or ACT score of at least 1500. (Not an important requirement)
Non-citizens who meet the eligibility requirements for all merit awards and other scholarships are also evaluated.
