Accountancy Firm – Accounts Clerk – Town Centre Location
Your new firm
You will be joining a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants who offer a range of services to their extensive client base. This general practice offer their clients audit, tax, payroll and accounting services and following a period of sustained growth they are now looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Clerk/ Bookkeeper to their successful team based in the heart of Oswestry.
Your new role
As an Accounts Clerk working at this firm you will be required to process sales and purchase invoices, undertake bank reconciliations and prepare VAT returns. Your role will see you assist in the preparation of accounts through to Manager review and on a day to day basis you will be expected to liaise with clients.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an Accountancy Practice previously, in a similar role. You will have experience working as part of a team to achieve targets and meet deadlines. Ideally you will be AAT qualified however those studying for it or who are qualified by experience will also be considered. You will be up to date on the latest legislation in regards to VAT in the UK and your communication skills will be excellent.
What you’ll get in return
In return this firm are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays and a pension. The form work Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30 and whilst they would ideally prefer someone full time, part time applications will also be considered.
